Make a difference – Volunteer at We Grow Dreams Greenhouse & Garden Center. Help build a brighter future for families and loved ones with disabilities by becoming a part of the team!

INDIVIDUALS OR FAMILIES

• Job Coach

No experience is required and training is provided to work as a Job Coach with a Team Member. The Job coach provides support as the individual with a disability works in the greenhouse performing a variety of jobs that are a part of the greenhouse operation.

• On Site Projects

The Facilities Committee needs people with basic handyman or carpentry skills to help at the We Grow Dreams Greenhouse & Garden Center on most weekends or weekdays. There are opportunities to paint, perform minor repairs and clean up around the greenhouse.

• Special Events

Volunteers are needed to staff and set up for special events, help sell products, service customers, assist with decorating, publicity or a variety of clerical and administrative activities. See the We Grow Dreams 2005/2006 Calendar of Events for a list of upcoming Special Event volunteer opportunities.

• Organizations
  
• There are volunteer opportunities for civic organizations, businesses, Men’s & Women’s service clubs, Garden clubs, youth organizations and Scouting groups.
• Organizations can assist with special projects like building a fence or painting a building. Large groups can make light work of many different projects.
• Contact the We Grow Dreams Greenhouse & Garden Center to schedule a project for your group.

Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. To ensure the safety of our Team Members, background checks are required when volunteers work directly with people with disabilities.
